Creative Ways to Tell Your Spouse You Are Pregnant
Here are some creative ideas on how to tell your spouse you are pregnant. You can also use these ideas to tell your other family members and friends that you are pregnant also.
Movie Night
Rent a couple movies that have to do with pregnancy and have a movie night at home with your spouse. See how long it takes them to get the idea that you are pregnant. Some movies
that you can rent are "Nine Months," "Father of the Bride Two," "Juno," "Knocked Up," and "Look's Who's Talking."
Bake a cake
Bake a cake for your dessert that night and either put a plus sign on the cake or write, "Surprise, your going to be a dad!" Be sure that you don't let the cake be seen until after dinner though to make it a surprise.
Baby Sized Clothing
Buy a cute onsie and wrap it up and give it to your spouse. Once he unwraps the gift, he will be surprised to see what it is.
Older Child T-shirt
If you already have a child, make them a t-shirt that says "I'm going to be a big (sister/brother)" and see how long it takes him to notice the shirt.
Piggy Bank
Buy a piggy bank and mark it "College Fund" and place it in the bedroom or in an obvious spot. Wait to see when your spouse notices the piggy bank and then you can use it for your spare change to save for the baby.
Family Photo
Buy a photo frame that holds three pictures and put a picture of you and your husband as babies in the frame. In the middle spot, place a picture of your positive pregnancy test, or write "Coming Soon" on a piece of paper.
Bun In the Oven
When your spouse comes home for dinner, ask them to help you out and get the dish out of the oven. Instead of dinner in the oven, place a bun (any kind will do) in the oven. See how long it takes them to get the hint that you have a bun in the oven.
Pregnancy Test Surprise
If you are really daring and do think this will gross your spouse out, then wrap up your positive pregnancy test in a box and present to your spouse. Watch their reaction as they open the box.
Maternity Shirt
Most maternity stores have some sort of shirt that announces you are pregnant, either it says "baby" or "due in.." Buy one of those shirts and wear it around the house. See if your spouse notices it.
