Americans will Return to Pioneer Living to Survive

Earth changes, economic collapse, natural disasters, global warming, oil crisis, gas prices, inflation and immigration.

It seems like there's a new crisis every day. Doesn't it make you want to head for the hills? Many Americans will be. Survivalist and homesteading movements are nothing new, but they're no longer limited to separatist groups.

A new pioneering spirit is emerging in our staggering country. Americans will be searching for survival solutions on the Internet. It won't be just right-wing extremists, environmentalist greenies, aging hippies, radical leftists, Biblical Christians, gun-toting hillbillies or any other stereotypical group. It will be all of us, if we're wise.

This list will get you started in a preparedness program. Think "Little House on the Prairie." Want milk? Buy a cow.

Get out of debt. Live frugally.

Invest in precious metals including numismatic gold that cannot be confiscated.

Grow your own vegetables, herbs and fruits. If you are in a rural area, raise chickens. Container gardening works in urban areas. Network with family and friends to barter goods.

Stockpile food and water.

Stockpile batteries, candles, and first aid supplies.

Have battery-operated radios, ham radios or crank radios available.

Work from home. Be inventive.

Homeschool your children. They'll be safe and will learn your values, not those thrust upon them by society.

Live off the grid if possible, with alternative heat /energy sources (wood stove, solar heat) and well water.

Use herbal remedies, nutrition and good old-fashioned cures our ancestors used. Their validity is being rediscovered today as we slowly emerge from the drug-induced fog American pharmaceutical companies have created.
