Another Happy Thought (On Another Happy Day)

is that indeed the odds are against us

I accept that

I admit it

But I'll never hesitate

to say every bit was worth it

And I'll never ever regret

One single minute

As you lie in my arms

As it all had just began

I remember to this day

When you first touched my hand

I thought to myself

"How Lucky"

for this moment

Should it never come again

That thought will never leave me

nor the joy,

nor the love

Should it all come to an end

Because I know the odds are against us

Some could say

We cannot win it

But I know that you will never hurt me

Because I chose myself to risk it

risk the pain just to begin it

It was my choice

And I'd never take it back

I'd never lose one second

I'd never erase a single day

Because I loved you before it started

I've loved you all along

I've loved you in my weakness

And I'll love you when I'm strong

I'll love you if you leave me

I'll love you if you stay

I know the risk, but there is really no danger

Because I love you either way

That's another happy thought

I was thinkin'

As I was thinkin' bout you today

There is no unhappy ending

Because I'll love you anyway

No right or wrong decisions

I'll love you either way

and Smile already...It's a beautiful day
