Since the fallout of the Zombie epidemic, the world has never looked the same. Not since World War II have there been so many deaths, political upheavals, national and civil wars, and so much unity in world history. This is the story of World War Z. An oral biography dedicated to those who fought, survived, and those who looked toward the future despite the very real threat of an apocalypse of biblical proportion. The war has been called many things: The Crisis, The Dark Years, The Walking Plague, The Zombie War, World War Z, etc. Our reporter traveled the world working for the United Nation's Postwar Commission Report in an attempt to supply research for the report. What he supplied in actuality were the intimate details of personal experiences that could never be catalogued into a series of statistics. As such, our said author published his own oral biography for the world to admire.
The documentary describes one of the very first breakouts in a small village of what is now the United Federation of China. A montage of migration and panic before the actual war is thus given heed. And then of course, we hear the stories on how people actual believed there was a cure for Undeath and how certain pharmaceutical companies exploited this. But eventually it came to be realized that there was no cure, no treatment, and no security from the walking dead.
