Pain like Cobain

Hey Cobain,

I think I know why you did it man,

burning red flames tore you up,

it wasn't as if you had the solution,

what a shame you went out in a flame,

you could have burnt out the regular way,

yet were eaten alive by the decay,

it was as if you didn't have a choice,

you could have said something, but I know there's no voice,

They don't know how to treat you,

Only how to beat you,

down, down, down into the flame,

you were fair game....

Now your gone, but not forgotten,

Cobain the free soul from rotten.

This is one of my favorite poems that I have written. I originally published it in 2007.
