How would you like to be a part of a cursed bloodline of a chosen race that is doomed to perish painfully on the day of your twenty-seventh birthday? Cassandra Peters is part of that bloodline. And it’s getting closer and closer to her twenty-seventh birthday. If you think this curse is bad, there is another curse attached to the main cure. Because of a mistake the God Apollo made thousands of years ago, the last of the Apollite bloodline dies, so do the sun, the earth, and all that dwell there. Cassandra Peters wants nothing more than to live, but there are Daimons, vampires banished into the darkness by another curse, that are looking forward to Cassandra’s death to end their curse. There is one out clause to this curse and that is to kill a human and ingest their blood and their should. Doing that will immortalize her, making her a Daimon.
Dark-Hunters are natural enemies to Apollites and are made to protect and defend mankind who live and hunt and execute the Daimons who feed off of human souls. Twelve-hundred year old Dark Hunter Wulf Tryggvason didn’t know what he was getting into when he saved Cassandra as she was being attacked by Daimons. Wulf is pure temptation, standing six feet six, a body that asked to be touched, and eyes the color of the night; he was full of sexual desire and promise. But even he himself is cursed as no human can remember him five minutes after leaving his presence. But to Wulf’s surprise Cassandra is the only person on the planet that remembers him.
Cassandra and Wulf are brought together by fate. According to Wulf’s boss, Acheron, it is his responsibility to protect and defend Cassandra. Cassandra is half human and he is sworn to protect humans, but the other half of her is Apollite and everyone knows that Dark-Hunters are sworn enemies to the Apollites. So what is a Dark-Hunter to do? The answer is, obey his boss or be turned to dust.
