July 4th is right around the corner. Want to know how to throw the perfect Fourth Of July Barbecue? All you need is some inspiration for the food, decorations and activities that reflect the spirit of independence and freedom!

Decorations For How To Throw The Perfect Fourth Of July Barbecue

The first step for throwing a great outdoor party on July 4th is to create the right setting. Of course your colors must be red, white and blue; but the options for paring those colors together are limitless.

The easiest thing that you could do is buy a bunch of flag themed items. There are banners, paper plates, cups, napkins, clothes and other celebration items available. All you'd have to do is spread them out.

You could also alternate the colors. For example: you could spread out a red table cloth across your picnic table, use white paper plates and silverware, and serve your beverages in blue plastic. (Or any combination of these colors)

Finally, lighting is what tops off any decorative space. So, grab a few paper lanterns in the colors of independence and string them around your yard. Cover citronella candles in different shades, or place them in colored candle holders, and you're doing double duty; creating a festive mood as well as helping to keep the mosquito's away!

As you see, the decorations do not have to be elaborate or expensive. Just make sure to have Old Glory flying somewhere because that is what this celebration is all about!
