These are so yummy. I love Mrs. T's Pierogies - Potato & Cheddar Cheese. I especially love that they are low in fat. Why is it so hard to come up with different meals every night. It is so exhausting. That is why I was so happy when I discovered Mts. T's Pierogies. Even my two and a half year old son likes them. That was just a fluke. I had made them for myself, never in a million years thinking that my son would eat these. I made him chicken fingers and fries instead. To my surprise, he asked me for a bite of my pierogie and ended up finishing my dinner. Don't get me wrong, I was so happy that he loved them. I made sure next time to make more than enough for the both of us. One would think these wouldn't have much taste but they actually are filled with flavor.

Taste and Preparation:

Delicious. You can prepare these pierogies in different ways. The two ways that I prefer to prepare them are 1. Boiling them in water, and 2. Baking them in the oven. I usually boil them but sometimes they can get soggy and watery if they sit too long after making them. I found that if you bake them, they stay crisper much longer. I also found them to be tastier when I baked them over boiling them. They were so easy to prepare. All I did was spray the pan with a little Pam
cooking spray and then place the pierogies on the pan. I put the oven to 350 degrees and let them cook for about 20 minutes. I think it depends on how many pierogies you put on the pan. I happened to have put six on. They taste like potato mixed with cheddar cheese. They have a light taste to them. The texture is smooth and fluffy inside. They look like ravioli. They are about 3 inches in diameter. They are elongated, not round. In addition, what I like is that they are extremely filling. The first time I made them, I overate. I didn't realize that you feel full about 10 minutes after you eat them. Make sure you potion control yourself or else you will want to eat the whole box and them be sick afterwards. They are low in fat so if you do have too many you won't feel so bad. I always keep an extra box in my freezer just for emergencies. They make a great main dish or even just as a side dish.

Happy Eating!
