Summer is here. We all know what that means. Heat... and lots of it. So the thirst will be on. What better way to cure the unbearable thirst than to enjoy a great big glass of some great tasty iced teas? There isn't a better way than the recipes I am about to list. These are always a crowd pleaser and better alternative than sodas. Teas infused with fruit juices, liquor, and spices. I love summer and I love iced tea. I hope you enjoy these tasty concoctions as much as I do.

1.Peachy Iced Tea. For this delicious variation you will need 3 12-oz cans of peach juice, 2 quarts tea, 1 cup sugar, and 1/4 cup lemon juice. All you have to do is combine everything and chill. Serve it over ice. Simple as 1,2,3.

2. Apple/Honey Tea. For this great style of tea you will need 3 cups water, boiling, 4 tea bags, 1/3 cup honey, and 3 cups apple juice. Steep tea bags in hot water for 5 minutes. Strain out tea bags, and stir in honey and juice. Mix until honey is dissolved. Chill and serve over ice. This recipe will serve 6-8 people. After tasting this your guests will come by often. Maybe too often.

3. Southern Delight. This drink will knock your socks off. What a great way to relax. Pull out the rocking chair and the radio and drink a couple of these. Guaranteed to be a good time. Gather up your favorite whiskey and a bottle of Southern Comfort. Mix up ½ whiskey and ½ Southern Comfort. Top of with iced tea. Serve over ice.

4. Spiced Rum Iced Tea. What better way to enjoy summer than pretending you're a pirate. This drink is guaranteed to get your Roger jolly. Grab a bottle of your favorite rum and mix up this great variation. You will need 5 oz iced tea, 1 ¼ oz spiced rum, and ½ tsp lemon juice. Combine the iced tea, rum and lemon juice. Serve over ice in a highball glass.

These are some great tea recipes to guarantee you don't get burnt out on unhealthy soda's or bland water. Mix up a pitcher of these great concoctions and let the good times roll... or in this case pour.
