More Baby Equipment to Add to Your Baby Gift Registry

Multipurpose Products You Can Use as Your Child Grows

In Baby Equipment to Add to Your Baby Gift Registry, I recommend several specific pieces of baby equipment that a mom-to-be should consider adding to her baby gift registry. The pieces of baby equipment mentioned in that article are all items you’ll probably use only
a short time, but they are still worth adding to your baby gift registry.

In this article, I’d like to recommend several more pieces of baby equipment that you should consider adding to your baby gift registry. Each of these products is multipurpose. Because these pieces of baby equipment can be used in more than one way, they are especially good values and great items to add to your baby gift registry.

Playard With Bassinet

As far as playards (what our mothers called “playpens”) go, I recommend the Graco Pack ‘n Play, simply because it is the brand of playards I have had experience with. Graco Pack ‘n Plays come in a variety of fabrics and designs, and they range from $49.99 for a basic model to $199.99 for one that will accommodate twins.

My Graco Pack ‘n Play has all the bells and whistles: vibration, music, light, canopy, mobile, attachable changing surface and even a wipe holder. As it worked out, I could have gotten by with a much less complicated model, but one feature we did use was the bassinet attachment.

If you don’t have to have the frilly white bassinet just for the sake of having it, I strongly recommend that you register for a Pack ‘n Play with a bassinet attachment. You can get one for as little as $59.99, and with it, you really don’t need a regular bassinet. The Pack ‘n Play bassinet is full size, and it will hold babies up to 15 pounds.

My son slept in his Pack ‘n Play bassinet for the first few months of his life. Since then, his Pack ‘n Play has been used as a safe place for him to play while I work in the yard and as a portable travel bed. If you get a Graco Pack ‘n Play with the right features, you’ll find that you have a great, multipurpose piece of baby equipment.
