Table Rock Lake is located 6 miles west of Branson, Missouri and Branson is home for entertainment and activities for vacationers.The biggest theme park in Branson is the Silver Dollar City Park which takes you back into 1880's America with a complete craft village. The whole park is filled with crafts, thrill rides, and family attractions never losing the 1880's style. One traditions celebration held every year in the park is The Bluegrass and BBQ Festival. The biggest names in Bluegrass music are usually there during the 23 day festival that goes from May 10th thru the 1st of June. And every year there is an Old Fashion Christmas celebration which begins around the 1st of November every year and end at the end of December.

There is also a water park in Branson, called White Water and is Branson's only outdoor water park. It offers all the water slides you can imagine as well as a gigantic wave pool. For traveling back to the Old West, there is Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede Dinner and Show with all the ambiguity and excitement of the Old West. This Western extravaganza has a roaring stampede of longhorn steer, cowboys and a wagon train full of hopeful settlers with a dream of freedom. This is truly a remarkable show and should not be missed by any family on vacation in this area.
