Season Five of Scrubs Features Mandy Moore, Among Others, as Guest Stars
Since I have had such positive feedback on my previous link-tastic 'Scrubs Guest Stars' article, I decided to do it again. This time around I am going to focus all my links on Associated Content ProducerIn season five of Scrubs, J.D.'s main romantic fling is Julie Quinn, a very attractive, yet unbelievably clumsy woman. In his usual fashion, J.D. finds the one, small annoying quirk of this almost perfect woman and obsesses over it until he is almost ready to beak up over it. And what is this odd quirk? Julie does not laugh when she finds something funny. Instead, she says,"That's so funny." This bothered J.D. to the point of intervention from his friends, which included watching the movie Uncle Buck with her so she will say "That's so funny" so many times that it will not bother him anymore, which works. J.D. rushing things eventually brings the relationship to an end. This quirky Scrubs character is played by none other than pop star turned actress Mandy Moore. Amanda Leigh "Mandy" Moore hit stardom in the early 2000's with the release of bubble-gum pop albums such as So Real and Mandy Moore. In 2000, she tried her first television outing on MTV with The Mandy Moore Show and commercials for Neutrogena. Mandy Moore had a small role in 2001's hit The Princess Diaries but made real acting impact the next year in a starring role in the hit movie A Walk to Remember. Since then, Mandy Moore has starred in many films, including Chasing Liberty and Saved!. As many celebrities have done, Mandy Moore also voiced the Final Fantasy VII character Aerith Gainsborough in the video game Kingdom Hearts.
