Barack Obama has launched a website called Fight The Smears dot com. The normal method for handling scandalous and untruthful accusations in the past was to simply laugh it off. Most figured the voting public would realize it was all a spoof. Political candidates generally brush off nasty political attacks. Not anymore, after the last election featuring the Swift Boat gang.

Recently, various bloggers and "news" services and even on AC, questions have been raised about Barack Obama's birth certificate. Innuendo, fabrications and out right lies cast a suspicion on his right to seek the presidency. According to Fight The Smears he was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on August 4, 1961 at 7:24 PM.
