Alright, all the people I keep up with on MySpace have recently putting up their lists of their 10 favorite all time movies. I used to resist doing top ten lists, but I have since given in and feel compelled to do my own. This particular list, all time favorites, is especially difficult because there is no way this list can stay the same. It is a list that will always be in a constant state of revision because there are always new movies to see, and your favorites can easily change. Over the past few years though, I have found that some of my favorite movies have indeed retained the same spot on the list, so I figured it was okay to go ahead and give you a list of my favorites.

My top 5 movies were easy to figure out, but the last 5 were a bit of a struggle. I'm leaving off my usually runners up or honorable mentions because they all deserve their own special mentions with more than one or two sentences. After all, these are the films I love the most and which I never really get tired of watching.

So here we go...

10) E.T. - The Extra Terrestrial

This still remains my favorite movie as a kid, and this is regardless of the fact that my parents had to drag me bawling my eyes out of the theater... Twice. What I love most about "E.T." is that the human characters in it were so real that you can you can recognize them in your own life. I related a lot to Elliott (Henry Thomas) regardless of the fact that my parents are not divorced. His discovery of an alien residing in his backyard is like a dream come true for a lot of us who more than believe that there is life out there among the stars.

Good Fellas is my husband's absolute favorite movie, and close to mine. Ray Liotta's face when he laughs is priceless. It is scary though to know people really behave this way!
