There will be a lot of pain. Memories that wont get out of your head. Sleepless nights imagining what could have been. The fear of being alone. The doubts that maybe that could have been the person you were meant to be with for the rest of your life. You can be sure that all these things will happen. But its ok to feel this, its part of moving on you see.

It's ok to cry your heart out because you are human, you have a right to hurt. But how much is too much? That depends on you, on your weaknesses and strengths. It's up to you whether to walk out of the pain and misery or stay in that depression and waste time that you could be spending enjoying your life. Your still alive, you still have a right to live, you owe it if not to yourself then to the ones who do love you. The ones who are hurting with you, wishing they could get you out of your suffering.

You must remember why it is you broke up in the first place. Remember how many times he made you feel miserable and unworthy. Most people forget all the bad in the relationship, that led them towards the break up in the first place. Mostly because the fear of being alone strikes them even harder. Yes, you are alone for the time being, but even if you go back to this person. Those things that made you both miserable will still be there. You will break up if not now for good then later, and each time will just be harder on you because there will be more time and effort put into something that was meant to fail from the start.

Give yourself the opportunity to find someone who will love and appreciate you the way you deserve. How, you ask?

Takeaways
  • Do you really want to regret not moving forward sooner?
  • The things he hurt me with were still there, and that was just harder than not being with him at all
