Gas prices are soaring and many are looking for energy efficient vehicles to save them as much as possible on gas. The Honda FXC Clarity is a fuel cell powered car which means more savings for you. According to Slash Gear, Honda has claimed that the new Honda FXC Clarity is more energy efficient than the hybrid car which uses gas-electricity.

The Honda FXC Clarity runs on hydrogen and electricity and emits only water which makes it the most environmentally friendly vehicle out on the market today. I love this since I hate being choked on a vehicles smoke coming out of the exhaust pipe.

The Honda FXC Clarity gets approximately 68 miles to the gallon and has a gas tank that holds 45.7 gallons of gas.

Even though the Honda FXC Clarity seems to be the most fuel efficient car on the planet we should also take a look at its competitor the Hybrid.

The Hybrid is another option when it comes to energy efficient cars. The Hybrid still requires the use of gasoline since the combustible engine requires it.

If you are looking to increase your gas mileage which I am assuming that you are or else you would not be reading this page, then you are in luck since the Hybrid gets 50 to 60 miles per gallon. Compared to the new Honda FXC Clarity the Hybrid loses the win against the most per gallon use of gas since on average the Honda FXC Clarity gets 68 miles to a gallon.

The Hybrid also comes with a dual power source; the combustion engine and electric. The battery source for the Hybrid is self charged through conversion of wasted energy that has been obtained from the combustible engine.

The Hybrids dual engine which uses electric and gasoline and since the Hybrid uses its own waste to conduct energy it makes for a great choice in a vehicle since you would be using less gas.

The choices between the Hybrid and the Honda FXC Clarity come in many forms but one thing that I do know is that both vehicles can save you a lot of money when it comes to gas and the wear and tear on a vehicle. The cost of these vehicles are rather high but will actually cost you less in the long run once you take in the cost for fuel and wear and tear of the vehicles.
