Mygradebook.com is a website available for teachers to post grades and send updated emails that parents can view online. This is a very effective way to keep a grade book without a paper trail. Teachers can also use this anywhere, not just at school on a school issued computer. Access to the site can be provided by a school for a large group, or purchased individually by a specific teacher. The information from the program can easily be transferred to a district's student information system. This is a time-saving tool that would be well appreciated by those who normally enter everything by hand. For one person to access a license for the site, the cost is $49.95 a year. Groups of teachers can go in together for lower rates should a school district choose not to provide it for everyone. This website provides everything a teacher would need to keep accurate records in one location. Students and parents can log in at any time to view the grades. When a teacher logs in and updates grades, an email can be sent to a parent or student letting them know grades have been entered. No experience is necessary to set up and maintain a gradebook. Even beginners will feel comfortable navigating through the site. Help tabs are available throughout, and customer service can be contacted through email or by phone.
