Ways to Help Support Our Troops

Let's Support the Ones that Sacrifice Their Lives

American troops started being deployed in 2003 and it still looks as if there is no end to this war in sight. Our troops must not be forgotten or abandoned. We as Americans must continue to support them until they can all come home. There has been several organizations established to keep
 the morale of our troops high. These organizations and people refuse to forget about our troops. These are just a few of many:

Soldiers' Angels-www.soldiersangels.org-Soldiers' Angels a non-profit organization that provides help and support to our military organizations. This organization was birthed by two mothers whose sons were in the military. Not only does this organizations help with care packages, and veterans they also help the families of fallen soldiers. There are several different programs under Soldiers' Angels you can participate in. The website above will provide you with the many ways you can help.

Support Our Troops-www.supportourtroops.org- This organization not only support our troops they help the families of the troops. This organization offers the yellow ribbons that you see on cars, they are also over our flagship program. This deals with the license plates. These are just a few of the programs that Support Our Troops have created to produce funds for our troops and their families.

"Brave Soldiers of the USA"-www.cd.baby.com/cd/aegrant-For those music lovers Alicia Ellison Grant song "Brave Soldiers of the USA" was written in honor of our troops. This song can be digitally downloaded. Half of the proceeds from this song benefits our troops at home and abroad.

Adopt a Platoon-www.adoptaplatoon.org-This organization offers pen pal support. You agree to send a card or letter to a soldier weekly. You can adopt up to four soldiers. This organization also has many different campaigns you can participate in that will reach and help many soldiers.

Any Soldier-www.anysoldier.com-This organization was started by a sergeant in Iraq in 2003. You can send the soldiers care packages or you can make monetary donations. This organization will give items to soldiers who do not receive any mail.
