Written in India many centuries ago, Kama Sutra is the practice and art of love and life and is commonly used to improve sexual and sensual awareness in a relationship.   While the Kama Sutra dates back centuries, it is common practice among today's society even in individuals who are not aware they are practicing the technique.  For many lovers, what is not commonly known is the Kama Sutra is not only focused on sexual desire and acts but also provides a rich history and text regarding morals and life philosophy.

Kama Sutra is a 36 chapter guide to life, love and happines.  Suprisingly providing for only seven sections of guidance in the art of lovemaking, the Kama Sutra is widely thought to be a strictly a guide to sexual interaction.  Instead, the Kama Sutra is the underlying belief that describes life in terms of erotic sexual activity with very limited instruction in the actual Act itself.   The Kama Sutra follows three basic principles; all forms and species of life are permitted to grow ensuring their survival through nourishment, reproduction and sexuality.  The Kama Sutra goes on to support the right of every species to establish its own roles in the practice of sexual interaction.

Through the art of sexual expression, the Kama Sutra has developed 64 known artistic expressions of love and lovemaking and a portion of its guide to the same.   A common theme throughout the Kama Sutra artistic pieces involve the promotion of love, mood and intimacy.   Considered an investment vehicle, owning copies of the 64 Kama Sutra artworks makes for an interesting addition to a home art gallery.
