Searching for just the right cell phone can be quite a task. If you are requiring a pre-pay variety, that will certainly narrow your choices, but still, the vast selection can be overwhelming. To find the perfect cell phone for you, consider your needs and preferences. WILL THE Boost flip-phone model I855 be right for you?Price
Cost of a cell phone varies greatly. Some basic phones that are the pre-pay variety are on the market for $20 or less. Other more extravagant models can range in the $200-$400 price range.
The Boost I855 model cell phone can be purchased for a price of $50 to $80 depending on location. If cost is important to you, shop around. We purchased the boost flip-phone for $51 with tax and $5 of minutes included from Meijer.
This cost seemed slightly high when looking and comparing to some of the cheaper models out there on the market, but the benefits seemed worth it to our family.
Durability
The Boost I855 flip-phone appears to be very durable. We selected this cell phone from its competitors based on the way it was made. The purchase was for my son who is all boy. The flip-phone style helps to protect the buttons, screen, and components much better than an open model.
Features
The Boost I 855 model has some cool features. As I mentioned before, the flip-phone style sold us on the cell phone. My son was truly excited about the fact that the Boost I855 was capable of taking pictures. The phone can access the web and do text messaging, as well.
One drawback that didn't impress us was the lack of ring tones. My son was expecting at least a couple of tunes when he tried the tones through his list, but they were all very basic. This is a minor issue in our mind when you consider the cost of the cell phone and the minimal cost of purchasing custom tones.
