My Dog Took My Silly Putty

I had a jar of silly putty.
I took it out to play.
First, I stretched it to the left,
And then the other way.

I took the silly putty,
And rolled it into a ball.
I bounced it on the floor,
And I bounced it on the wall.

I pressed it against the funnies.
It made some nice cartoons.
Then I flattened it like a pancake,
And shaped it like the moon.

I spent about an hour
Playing with my putty.
My dog saw me playing with it,
And thought I looked kind of nutty.

I bounced it one more time,
But my dog caught the putty first.
He ran out of the house,
But that wasn't even the worst.

With the strange substance in Plato's mouth,
He fooled around with the putty.
Then he dropped it in the dirt,
And now it's Silly Muddy.
