Christmas Party Games for Office Parties
Here are some Christmas game ideas to spice up your holiday office party...
Christmas Candy Jar
Fill and seal a jar with Christmas candies and place it where everyone can see it throughout the party. Have slips of paper available for each person to write down their guess of how many candies are in the jar. At the end of the party, announce the correct answer, and whoever's guess was
closest gets to keep the jar of candy.
Stocking Memory
Have everyone sit in a circle. The first person says “I have a Christmas stocking, and in it I find a _______.”, and fills in the blank with an object that starts with ”A”. The then next person says “I have a Christmas stocking, and in it I find a ______ and a ______.”, where the first blank is the same A-item that the first person named, and the second blank is a new item starting with the next letter in the alphabet “B”. The next person has to name the A-item, name the B-item, and add a C-item, and so on. When someone can't remember the items, they are out. Keep going around the circle until only one person is left. That person is the winner.
Christmas Idol
Similar to American Idol TV show. Contestants must sing Christmas carols. Audience votes by applause, and the person with the most clapping after their song wins.
Siamese Gift Wrapping
Have pairs of people stand around a table. In front of each pair place a piece of gift wrap paper, a roll of tape, scissors, ribbon, and a box (make all the boxes the around the same shape/size to make it fair). In each pair, players must stand with one arm around the other person throughout the game. When someone says “Go!' players must race to wrap their box with one person using only their right hand and the other person using only their left hand. (The other hand stays wrapped around their partner's waist.) The winner is the first pair to wrap their gift box.
