Jamie Lynn Spears Gives Birth to Maddie Brianne

Jamie Lynn Spears who is the younger teenage sister of Britney Spears has given birth this morning to a baby girl named Maddie Briann. The birth took place in a hospital in Mississippi. Jamie Lynn Spears and baby Maddie Briann have been reported as being healthy and happy. Jamie Lynn Spears and fiancé, Casey Aldridge has recently bought a three-bedroom home in Liberty, Mississippi, as reported by People.

Jamie Lynn Spears isn't the only celebrity that has had a baby recently. Halle Berry who is known for being a successful actress and former model/beauty queen has had a baby girl this year and named her Nahla. Halle Berry is one of the few celebrities that I believe will be a great mother. Halle Berry has even gone as far as putting her acting career on hold so that she can do the mothering thing and spend time with her precious daughter.

Jennifer Lopez is another celebrity who has had a child this year. In fact, Jennifer Lopez had fraternal twins named Max and Emme. I am not sure if this mother would be the best mother since she has had a bad run in with guys or at least choosing the wrong guys. Who knows though, maybe she will surprise us all and stick with Marc Anthony and be a great mother.

One celebrity that I adore but am not sure if she is actually mother material is Christina Aguilera. Christina Aguilera gave birth a little bouncing baby boy named Max this year. This celebrity mom has actually become more mature over the past few years and has really toned down a lot. I am surprised that this celebrity actually made herself a better person.

Out of these four celebrity moms I believe that Halle Berry would have to win the award for "Best Celebrity Mom" if there was actually ever an award. Some celebrity moms have proven to just let their mothering instincts take over while others have found their way into the news for being a bad celebrity mom like Brittney Spears. I am not saying that Jamie Lynn Spear's sister, Brittney Spears is a bad celebrity mom but she sure hasn't had her head on straight in the past.
