Landscaping projects in the summer time can be a lot of fun, especially for young children. Not only will they be learning something but they will be having a lot of fun as well. Following is a list of kid friendly projects that you can do together. The first project for summer landscaping is to have your child create their own little garden. You can take them to your local garden center and allow them to pick out seeds of what they want to plant. The seed packs have pictures of what it will look like when it grows so you child should have no problem. Once they have picked out their seeds, you can purchase kid sized gardening tools. These types of tools can also be found in your local garden center or at your local Wal-Mart store. Usually they sell the children's tools in sets that you can purchase for an affordable price. Once you have all the tools you need you are ready for your project. In your yard you can give your child one section to work with. You can mark off this section by using rocks to make a circle or rectangle in the yard. They have you child plant their flowers and water them each day. They will love watching their plants grow.
