Interview with Lisa:1.) Question: When did you join A.C?Answer: I joined AC in October of 2007.
.) Question: Why did you join AC?Answer: 2007 was a rough year for me personally. I had lost my stepdad, my job after 16 years, and my oldest sister. I had done a lot of soul searching, and realized that life was far too short for me to horde the talents that I have been given. I had been searching for a long time for an outlet for my writing, and an online friend introduced me to AC.
.) Question: Who are your favorite CPs on AC?Answer: I have a very long favorites list. It is impossible for me to name them all, but here are a few: Kady Burney, A.M. Morgan, Norman Rubin, Saikat Kumar Dutta, Artme, Mary Coe, Nancie Norton, Yeshaun, Mike Sutherland...I am really sorry that I had to leave anyone out, but you know who you are, and that I love you!
.) Question: What is your favorite article on AC?Answer: I am not sure if you are asking about my work or someone else's. I have no favorites, but I love to read the poetry, prose, and short stories sections on AC. There are so many wonderfully talented fiction writers there.
.) Question: What do you enjoy writing about?Answer: Inspirational things. I love God, and I am forever grateful for all of the gifts that He has given to me in my life. What a blessing it is for me to know that many of my readers also enjoy my inspirational work.
.) Question:How do you choose topics for writing? Answer: I don't. It usually just comes...or it happens in little fragments. I always carry a little notebook with me. I can jot down a word, or a phrase. I never know what is going to happen until the piece comes together. Sometimes a poem can come in less than ten minutes, other times; it can take a few days.
.) Question: Do you think that AC could be a part-time or a full-time job?Answer: Not for me. I never once thought about the money-making aspects of being a CP. When I first joined, someone said that if I wanted to make money, then I would have to stop publishing poetry. I made the decision then and there to write only because I enjoy doing so and not for any money that I could possibly earn from it.
