When I was looking for a healthy alternative to my usual sugary cereals, I came across Fiber One Raisin Bran Clusters. Fiber One makes several varieties of high-fiber products including yoghurt, chewy bars, cereal, and bread products. There is also a selection of cereals from Original, to Honey Clusters, to Caramel Delight, to Raisin Bran Clusters. I decided to try the Fiber One Raisin Bran Clusters. I was pleasantly surprised.

Fiber One Raisin Bran Clusters Cereal: Price

One box of Fiber One Raisin Bran Clusters Cereal costs $4.19 at my local Foodmaster. The price was relatively reasonable, though I've seen better deals. Occasionally I'm able to buy the organic cereals on sale for lower prices at Whole Foods markets. Still, $4.19 is not enough to break the bank. The price is on par with similar types of cereals at chain supermarkets.

Fiber One Raisin Bran Clusters Cereal: Nutritional Information and Ingredients

One of the perks of Fiber One Raisin Bran Clusters Cereal that one cup offers a whopping 43 percent of your daily required intake of fiber!

Fiber One Raisin Bran Clusters Cereal is also quite nutritious as a whole. The cereal contains only one ram of fat per serving, no cholesterol, and 260 mg of sodium. The only downside was the 13 grams of sugar that I was not happy about. I guess that's the price to pay for having 11 grams of fiber.

One cup of the cereal also offers 10 percent of your daily required intake of calcium, 25 percent of iron, thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, Vitamin B6, Folic Acid, Vitamin B12, 15 percent of phosphorous, 10 percent of magnesium, and 25 percent of zinc.

Takeaways
  • Fiber One Raisin Bran Clusters contain a whopping 11 g of fiber, but also 13 g of sugar.
  • Fiber One Raisin Bran Clusters contains wheat and bran flakes, raisins, and clusters.
  • Fiber One Raisin Bran Clusters are a healthy and tasty way to get more fiber.

I have diabetes and count carbs for everything. This is so I can take an appropriate amount of insulin. In eating Fiber One Rain Bran Clusters, based on my personal glucose results using continuous glucose monitoring, the labeling information is NOT CORRECT. I'd say the labeling is UNDERSTATING the carb value by a lot.

I might try this. The problem is "How does it taste with water?" I can't do milk.
