Frank's Wallpaper is located at 635 Harrison Street, in Elkhart, Indiana. This family operated and owned business opened in 1985. I visited it for the first time in approximately 1986. I was looking for wallpaper to decorate our new home. I had gotten remarried and was exciting about being able to decorate our house. I had looked at regular painting and decorating stores and was shocked by the price of wallpaper.

Frank's Wallpaper has a vast selection of discount wallpaper. He has vintage wallpaper along with newer discount wallpaper selections. I have had my kitchen wallpapered twice just because I could. It wears well and is very durable.

I don't remember who clued me into Frank's Discount Wallpaper store. It was a gold mine as far as finding bargains. I wallpapered my kitchen, and four bedrooms and a bathroom for a fraction of the cost of buying from a regular wallpaper store. Later when we built a new house I went back to Frank's and bought wallpaper to do our new house.

He also has paint and wallpaper borders. There is a back room where you can find toys and other items that are too numerous to mention. He must have access to places that are overstocked on many items especially discount wallpaper. I have never purchased anything from Frank's that I was disappointed in.

Frank's is a unique experience. It is not in the best neighborhood but is a bargain hunter's delight. He also has a little bit of everything else you could possibly want. It is a little like going to garage sales. Sometimes he even has a garage sale in the back of the store. I have gotten cleaning supplies among other sundries from Frank's Wallpaper Store.

Frank also has his own painting and wallpapering business. If you don't want to do it yourself he will do it for you. He is a very unique fellow. He still has an Italian accent and is often in the store. I have found him charming and very helpful.
