From Laid-off to Paid-Off: Warm Spirit's Top Earner Shares Her Success Story with Atlanta-based Magazine

Warm Spirit's 3 Diamond National Vice President and #1 earning consultant, Sherry D. Fields has landed in Atlanta, ready to give people an opportunity to make as much money as she does in the direct sales industry. Sherry was making six-figures as a corporate executive but was laid-off in the spring of 2001. Having tapped out her savings account and approaching the six-month mark of unemployment, she began to panic. Sherry explains, "Everyone knows the job market slows down in the summer. I was looking forward to things picking up after Labor Day - that's what normally happens, but then September 11^th occurred and everything stopped."

With a B.A. from Stanford University and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, her degrees didn't mean much in a shaken economy. Looking for a real source of income, Sherry had an "Aha!" moment, while giving herself a pedicure with Warm Spirit products. She says, "I happened to be giving myself a pedicure - trying to de-stress from my grim reality, it was then I realized I knew so many people who would appreciate these products and I decided to give the direct sales industry a try." Fields started her Warm Spirit business in the fall of 2001. Six months later she found a job and returned to corporate America, again making six-figures, but she'd lost the passion she once felt. Continuing to supplement her income with Warm Spirit, she gained confidence in being able to embrace entrepreneurship permanently. Fields replies, "I remember dreading going back to work, even though I was making six-figures, I'd had a sweet taste of being my own boss, making my own money and on my own time." Sherry officially resigned from corporate America six months after reentering and became a fulltime Warm Spirit business owner.
