WWE: World Wrestling Entertainment
A Look at the WWE
"RAW" and "SMACKDOWN!" became official brands and trademarks in 2002. Originally, RAW was owned by Ric Flair and SMACKDOWN was owned by Vince McMahon. Along with that, WWF/WWE extension was officially announced by Linda McMahon as brand extensions. Vince received 100% ownership of WWE on RAW in a match on June 10th, 2002. Next month on July 15th McMahon announced that General Manager Eric Bishoff would run RAW from now on.
Today, RAW wrestlers interact with SMACKDOWN! Wrestlers. Here's a quick overview of the top five pro wrestling stars of 2005:
The Rock, now a movie star, is the most well-known WWE wrestler out there. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's one-eyebrow face is nowadays famous on all of his wrestling matches. He was the youngest person to ever win 6 WWF title records before he turned 24.
Originally from Miami, FL Johnson switched his career from football to pro wrestling, and pursuing Hollywood careers afterwards. After "Be Cool" and "Walking Tall" Dwayne is now going to be filming 7 more movies including "Doom", "Spy Hunter", "Johnny Bravo" and many more. The Rock was featured in multiple MTV awards, including 2004 MTV Movie Awards.
Kevin "Big Sexy" Nash pursues Hollywood like Dwayne Johnson. Kevin is 6'10", he has a perfect muscle body, who looks like, quote, "an outlaw biker". Looking so tough, Nash is actually a funny and a very smart guy who backs up all of his statements with hilarious jokes and wise remarks.
