Fantasy football draft time is just around the corner, and it is time to start your studying. The quarterback position is an interesting position for fantasy football. The rules in your fantasy football league are important to determining the draft position for QBs. If your league awards full points for quarterbacks in rushing yards and rushing touchdowns then the running quarterbacks need to go up on this list. Let's get started with the rankings.2008 Fantasy Football QB Rankings
1. Tom Brady- New England
This is a no brainer. Brady broke all sorts of records last season and should go in the middle of the first round in most drafts this year. Although his numbers should come back to earth some, nothing really has changed in New England. With Moss and Welker still catching the accurate passes that Brady throws out, you should not be disappointed in taking Brady in the first round. He is probably more of a guarantee then most of the fragile running backs taken about the same time.
2. Peyton Manning- Indianapolis
Manning might be the forgotten man in some fantasy football drafts this year. He is number two in the quarterback rankings for the first time in several years and Tom Brady took over the top spot. Pick up Peyton if he slips towards the end of the second round. He is still a fantasy stud and typically a lock to stay healthy.
3. Tony Romo- Dallas
Tony proved last season that he is here to stay. His numbers only improved from the previous season and he should continue to be an elite quarterback this season. I expect Romo's numbers to stay about the same Take him in the third round slightly behind Manning in any fantasy football draft and you will be happy.
4. Drew Brees- New Orleans
Brees is quite a step down from the top three fantasy football quarterbacks on this list. He started off slow last season but finished strong. After the top three quarterbacks are gone on your draft do not get over anxious to stretch for Brees. He should be solid but be careful to not pull the trigger too soon.
5. Carson Palmer- Cincinatti
