Pet Product Review: Regular Litter Scoop by Van Ness
Cat owners with inside cats know full well that they need to help maintain their cats' personal hygiene by regularly cleaning out their litter tray, adding fresh cat litter to the tray and scooping it out each day after the cats have used
it. This not only helps keep inside cats clean and free from certain diseases, but it also keeps cats happy while helping to maintain a clean environment for the cat owners and their family members.
My husband and I needed to find an alternative litter scoop for our two inside cats, as the one we had been using was inefficient. As soon as we would finish scooping the cats' litter, small clumps of litter would fall through the holes onto the floor before we could safely and hygienically dispose of it. We started our search for a new cat litter scoop by browsing the pet aisles in the local shops. Before long we came across Litter Scoop by Van Ness. We bought Auto Feeder and Auto Waterer by Van Ness in 2007 and were happy with that product, which is why we already knew we could trust a product made by Van Ness.
Van Ness was first established in 1945. According to the Van Ness website, each product is "tested for durability, functionality, and safety to assure you that the product meets the needs of your pet". Among the products available by Van Ness, there are over 30 feeding and watering products designed with pets in mind, as well as litter trays, and litter scoops for cats and dogs.
The litter scoops are available in either silver or blue and come in two different sizes. Each litter scoop is made in America. The Regular Litter Scoop by Van Ness measures 11 " x 4 7/8" x 2 ¼". This size only comes in silver. There is also a Giant Litter Scoop available which measures 13 ¼" x 6" x 2 ½", which comes in either silver or blue.
My husband and I purchased the Regular Litter Scoop by Van Ness for just $0.70 from Wal-Mart. The price was great, but would this product work better than the last cat litter scoop?
