Parents can make their own Camp Rock wall hooks for a little girl's room. The wall hooks are easy to make and they can be used to hang hats, jewelry or small purses. What You Need to Make Camp Rock Wall Hooks
Wooden Shapes for the Camp Rock Wall Hooks
First, determine the shape of the Camp Rock wall hooks that you would like to use in a little girl's room. One obvious shape is the shape of a star, since the singers and actors on Disney's Camp Rock are all stars.
Another idea is to use a combination of shapes, including stars circles, octagons, or rectangles.
Purchase a couple of shapes in the arts and crafts supplies section of Wal-mart. They cost under one dollar each, and are made of thin wood.
Mounting Hardware for the Camp Rock Wall Hooks
You will also need a small set of mounting hardware for each one. You can use small hooks that glue onto the back, or use shallow nails.
Handles for the Camp Rock Wall Hooks
In the arts and crafts section also purchase some small wooden dowels. These will be the hooks on which the little girl can hang her precious accessories. Another easy option is to purchase white knobs that are used for kitchen or bathroom cabinet handles. These come with a screw already attached.
Arts and Crafts Supplies
Access to a color printer is also needed, as you will need to print out images from the Disney.com/camprock web site.
Acrylic medium, and an iridescent powder will complete the look. You will need a foam paint brush as well.
Tools
A small hand-drill will help you make the Camp Rock Wall hooks. Try the Fiskar's manual hand drill, which is operated by you, with a small crank. It is very easy to use, and it takes not batteries or electricity. Or use your favorite strong glue. A small screwdriver may also come in handy.
How to Make Camp Rock Wall Hooks
Find a few images your little girl likes from the Disney.com/camprock web site. Re-size them using your photo software, or using a simple copy machine. Make them a size that will completely cover the wooden shapes.
Experiment with which Camp Rock image looks best on one shape. A star may be more suitable for one, and a circle for another.
