Have you ever wanted to read a newspaper that would leave you feeling good all over? Dan and Rhonda Keen did. They came up with the brilliant idea of starting a newspaper that contained only good news. News that was helpful and uplifting. There would be no reports of untimely deaths, criminal reports, or political banter.

I know what you are going to ask. The same thing Dan and Rhonda wondered. Will this idea take off, and would people really want to read an "all good news" newspaper. They took a chance and the Bright Side was created in 1994. Dan and Rhonda like to say that their newspaper has the "flavor" of a magazine because each issue contains something in it that will cater to the citizens of Cape May County‘s interests.

Here is some of the information the Bright Side publishes: Upcoming Events, Spotlights on local businesses, articles on family values, financial tips, human interest stories, local news, the pastor's pen, health and wellness articles, and useful information for everyday living. The Bright Side also offers several special feature articles throughout the year. These topics include: Health and Fitness, Home and Hearth, Money Management, Church News, News for Seniors, and Pet Appreciation. We cannot forget their spring and Fall Bridal guides. If you are looking to plan a wedding this is the issue for you!

In addition to all the great articles, the Bright Side continues to offer the lowest advertising rates in the county. Their basic rate for display ads is only $9.00 per column inch (1-1/2" x 1"). Classified ads run for $7.50. Get your business listed in the Business Directory for $18 per issue with a discount of $3.00 per issue if you make a 1 year commitment. The Bright Side never charges additional zone rates like most newspapers, and gives free spotlight articles featuring your business if you take advantage of multiple issue discounts. The Bright Side believes "Advertising is not an expense. It's an investment!"
