Great Christmas Traditions for the Office

Everyone loves to celebrate Christmas and has several traditions that go along with that wonderful holiday.  But why save all those traditions for your home?  There are a lots of Christmas traditions you can start in your office.  The coworkers, at your office, will love starting Christmas traditions because it makes those everyday days so much more enjoyable.  There are some really fun traditions you can start at your office this Christmas and all of them are very affordable.  I hope these traditions help you to have a wonderful Christmas, while at the office.




Use Christmas wallpaper on the office computers.  This is such an easy and affordable tradition.  Starting the week after Thanksgiving, each person could bring in new wallpaper to share with the office each week.  Then on the week of Christmas (or the week before if your office is closed that week) set their computer screensavers to do a slideshow of all the different wallpapers.




Draw names.  Does anyone really have enough money to buy everyone in the office a Christmas present (besides the boss)?  This year, start the tradition of drawing names.  This way everyone will get a Christmas present and no one will have to worry about the expense of buying everyone a present.




Decorate the office.  Why should you only experience the joy of Christmas decorations at home?  This year, make it a tradition to decorate the office as well.  I use to work for a company that was nothing but cubicles, but we still decorated the office to show that we had Christmas spirit.  We brought little stuffed animals to put on our desks.  We also decorated out cubicles with Christmas lights.  Then there were several Christmas trees located throughout the office.  We all took time to decorate these.  This is a tradition that is easy and allows the members of the office to become closer as the experience the joy of Christmas.
