1. Rent a romantic holiday movie. There are some really good romantic holiday films, but most are chick flicks, so I suggest sticking with a classic. A Wonderful Life not only tells us how special our lives are, but also contains a beautiful love story. This movie makes for a wonderful Christmas date, but there are other treats that would make this Christmas date even better.
2. Make Christmas cookies together. I and my boyfriend did this on our first Christmas together. It’s such a great addition to your holiday date. It’s fun to make sugar cookies and roll them and cut them. You can also make gingerbread men and women decorating them in a not-so-traditional manner, if you catch my drift.
3. Grab a cozy blanket. After making the cookies together, grab a cozy blanket and settle in for the movie. Having one cozy blanket means having to cuddle to share the blanket. To make sure there is some cuddling going on, turn down the heat. Then just sit there cuddling, enjoying your wonderful Christmas date.
4. Make some hot chocolate. To make this Christmas date even better, make some hot chocolate. You can do this really easily by using packaged cocoa mix, but to make it better use milk instead of water; the taste will be richer. Cuddle together in your cozy blanket and enjoy this wonderful treat.
