In New York City, there are thousands of different restaurants to choose from. Not only is trying each and every one of them probably impossible, but it is costly and wastes a lot of time. So, this Thanksgiving if you are too busy to prepare a four hour long meal, don’t waste your time and money on a restaurant you aren’t sure is good. Instead, try one of these top rated restaurants for your Thanksgiving meal!

Aureole- 34 E. 61st St. New York, NY 10021- 212-319-1660
This restaurant follows the Charlie Palmer’s Aureole formula of modern and elegant food with a room to match. This townhouse space is cozy, simple, yet attractive. It gets your attention, but then at the same time allows you to focus on the food before you. The chef here is Dante Boccuzzi oversees all the American cuisine prepared here. The menus are long and you are sure to find just what you are looking for. If you are looking for a truly unique experience, reserve a seat in the tiny back garden! Reservations are suggested, but not required. You can either call 212-319-1660 or reserve online at opentable.com

Fleur de Sel- 5E. 20th St. New York, NY 10003- 212-460-9100
This restaurant is quiet and cozy and best yet the prices are decent. The chefs are William Mickelsen and chef-proprietor Cyril Renaud focuses on the wine selection and his artwork along the walls. The food served on the plates are pure artistry and the entrees run from roasted Atlantic skate and langoustine with wild ramp purée in carrot emulsion, to a confit of veal breast with smoked morels and shallot soubise in a hazelnut butter sauce, via a sugar cane and coffee-marinated pork chop with white sweet potato purée and caramelized cèpes. Reservations are suggested, but not mandatory and can be made at opentable.com or call 212-460-9100.
