I love popcorn and I eat it quite often as a snack. It is one of my favorite treats and recently, while shopping at my local grocery store, I spotted Non-Hydrogenated Smart Balance Light Butter Deluxe Microwave Popcorn in the snack section. I like most of the Smart Balance products that I have tried so, I decided to purchase this popcorn and try it out. Here is what I discovered!Non-Hydrogenated Smart Balance Light Butter Deluxe Microwave Popcorn is very reasonably priced. I bought a box of this microwave popcorn for a little bit over two dollars. One box has three bags of microwave popcorn in it. That was a bargain price, in my opinion, especially for a healthy popcorn snack. The box of Non-Hydrogenated Smart Balance Light Butter Deluxe Microwave Popcorn is very attractive and eye catching! It is dark green with gold lettering and shows delicious looking popcorn. This box also has several seals of awards on it, from the American Culinary chefs. It won the best taste award in 2007. That impressed me. Another impressive fact that made me want to purchase this product was the words "helps improve cholesterol" written on the front of the box. That definitely got my attention! I certainly like a snack that can do that and taste good, too.
When I popped my first bag of Non-Hydrogenated Smart Balance Light Butter Deluxe Microwave Popcorn, I was very impressed by the large amount of popcorn that I got. Almost every kernel in the bag popped and did so in three minutes. Without burning one kernel. Wow! The popcorn is not very big but, it is pretty good quality popcorn. There was a lot of it. I loved that! The light butter taste is just that. It is very lightly buttered but, there is some butter there. I added some salt to this popcorn but, not very much. This popcorn had a good flavor and I enjoyed it. I also felt good while eating it. I knew it was not bad for me and that this snack was helping me watch my cholesterol level. That fact did make this product more enjoyable for me.
