abundance of streets aligned by some beautiful canals. I have described this place many a time as one where there is something happening on all visual levels be it underground, on water, land or in the air. A great city for artists too who are into photography or painting as there are so many different types of scenery.

The Uithof is a student campus located to the East of Utrecht, one of the most popular student towns 30 minutes away by train from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Situated here are faculties of the Utrecht University and the 'Hogeschool Utrecht' or otherwise know in English as the University for Professional Education. Almost all faculties can be found here with the exception of Law & Humanities which are located in the town centre.

The SSH is a social institution for accommodation also located at the campus that take care of housing for both local and international students. Many international students have complained about the high price paid for renting a room at the SSH so first time arrivals are warned to try and look for something on their own prior to arrival. Some other websites where you can search for rooms include 'kamernet' & 'studentenkamers' both which can be found on Google however some knowledge of the Dutch language would be advisable.

There are many roads accessible by foot leading to the town centre however it is recommended to own a bicycle so you can get around with ease. A car would be useful as well but be careful for the high prices paid for ownership such as parking and insurance. Also, the price of fuel in Holland is known to be one of the highest in the EU. For the rest, there is the privilege of a quality running bus line that runs 7 days a week to and from town.
