Does Age Matter?

My husband is 64 years old and I am 42.

People always think we are father and daughter.

This used to bother me and I thought about dieing my hair grey but then he said maybe he should just wash his grey away.

Let me start at the beginning here.

My husband and I met online. My husband knew my age but I didn't know his and when I asked he would respond with does age really matter? He also woe'd me with an astrology article that Taurus and Taurus relationships work great if they agree that its ok to disagree. See we were both born on May 8th just a few years apart.

So as we chatted on-line we got to know each other. Not by looks or age difference but to truly know each other from the inside out.

So the day he came knocking on my door I was surprised to see his wrinkles. But I was to far gone I loved him for who he was and not for what he looked like.

And after 4 years of marriage I love him more today then I did when he knocked on my door.

People probably can not understand our relationship but its true women age differently then men. I do not see him as older then me.

People can be cruel but all that really matters in a relationship is that both people are happy.

So as you can see I did not marry because he was set in life but because I fell in love with his heart and soul.

My mom is married to a younger man and my oldest brother married a younger woman and we are all doing just fine. So we are living proof that this kind of relationship can work.
