Day 23 (Monday, June 30, 2008):
*Burgundy ribbon that came with a gift box; I often tie these around my neck and wear them as wide chokers. Cheaper than buying one with a clasp at Claire's.
*Wet Seal beaded necklace that my boyfriend bought me for Christmas. It reminds me of one of those artsy necklace that children's librarians wear...which is why I love it. Well, besides the fact that it reminds me of David.
*Tiny unicorn head earrings that I bought for $1 at a gift shop in Luray, VA.
*Derek Heart burgundy shirt with four buttons down the front and an empire waist
*White sort of Colonial Williamsburg looking camisole with no tag; I bought it secondhand years ago but I can't remember where. It's too short to wear plain so I always layer something over it. See? You don't HAVE to give away your favorite clothes if they no longer fit just right; if they still sort of fit, you can modify them somehow!
*LEI jeans that I cut off myself because they were that awkward length in between regular jeans and flood pants (in other words, they were too short); my mother bought two of these identical pairs from one of her friends
*Velveteen flats that I bought for $1 at a hospital run thrift shop in Seven Corners, Falls Church, VA. They even have a subtle paisley design and little bows. Quite dollish, no?
