Located on the Grand Stand in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, the Carolina Opry is an elegant theater that seats 2,200 people. When vacationing at Myrtle Beach, your trip won't be complete until you visit the Carolina Opry, which features live music. The music genres range from Rock, Country, Gospel, Broadway, and a variety of comedy acts.

The Carolina Opry is the brainchild of Calvin Gilmore, an entertainer and entrepreneur. The music and variety shows are always being updated; there are dancers, singers, and comedians from all over the United States. You will get to see such well known performers as Trisha Yearwood, Tracy Byrd, Tim McGraw, Confederate Railroad, David Allen Coe, Good Vibrations and many others. If you are sitting way in the back, you don't have to worry about not being able to see what is happening on stage, because there are 3 huge flat screens and magnificent surround sound.

If you feel like dancing, the Carolina Opry has one of the biggest dance floors in the state. On Wednesday nights there are DJ's playing Country and Rock. The DJ's also play between the live sets on Saturday and Sunday nights.

There are all genres of music to dance to. If you like to get up close and personal, you can waltz or round dance. Don't be shy; get up and join in on the fun. If you don't really know the steps to a dance, such as the waltz, line dance, or any other type of dance, the friendly help staff will help you to quickly learn the steps, so you can have an unforgettable time.

If you are planning to vacation in Myrtle Beach this summer, there are many hotels in the area. There are many beach resort hotels at Myrtle Beach, and wonderful restaurants. If you like a nightlife you might want to stop into Margaritaville and have a drink. There are golf courses in the area; there is just so much to do. If you want to be lazy and lie out on the sun on the beach, have a blast at one of the water parks, Myrtle Beach is the place to go.

Well now that's a very good idea! We'll be in that area on a road trip later this year and it's so good to know what things are available in the area. That's two things I've found in your articles so far that I'll need to look for on that trip! :-)
