Thanksgiving is a time for family to come together to give thanks for all the blessings in their lives and Thanksgiving is about food. What better way to reminisce and give thanks than to spend time with family and eat! Thanksgiving is traditionally the last Thursday of the month of November, this year falling on November 23, 2006. Many families gather and cook and make a smorgasbord of tasty food to enjoy. Though some people just aren’t cooks. Maybe they don’t like to cook or maybe they just aren’t good at it. No matter what the reason, some people don’t cook on Thanksgiving. Fortunately, there are a number of options for these people. Some choose to eat out at a restaurant for Thanksgiving and some choose to get their Thanksgiving family dinner catered and prepared ahead of time.
These are some benefits to having your Thanksgiving family dinner catered and prepared ahead of time.
- No dirty pots and pans to clean and scrub.
- No gutting the turkey. Touching the innards is pretty gross.
- You don’t have to wake up bright and early to get the bird in the oven.
- You don’t have to spend the whole day slaving away in the kitchen. More time with family and friends.
- No potato peeling. After about two potatoes my arm and hand are tired of peeling. Now multiply that by pounds and pounds of potatoes and that is just no fun.
- No need to grocery shop in all the craziness of Thanksgiving preparation. As Thanksgiving nears the grocery stores become more and more crowded. Avoid that insanity and get a catered Thanksgiving dinner!
These are three options for catered Thanksgiving dinners in the Niagara Falls area.
