Jungala: Busch Garden's New Attraction

Busch Gardens has recently added a new addition to the park. I have had the chance to go through the experience of Jungala. This 4 acre area of the park promises up close encounters with the animals, new rides, a new play area for children, and new gift shops and restaurants. The new animal attractions include The Orangutan Outpost, Tiger Lodge, Tiger Trails and Kulu Canopy. There are two new rides which are The Jungle Flyers and The Wild Surge. The new play area is called Tree-Top trails. And there are a few new places to eat and shop pf coarse.

I only had the chance to experience one of the animal attractions which was Tiger Trails. The Pros: You definitely get a more up close look at the Tigers, the environment is appealing to the eye, and I really liked the pop-up area where you can climb up into the rectangular glass in the Tiger habitat. The Cons: The pop-up areas is not in the middle of the environment so it is very unlikely for a tiger to be close to it, and I did not see any white tigers as advertised. The Others animal attractions I can tell you about from experience. The Orangutan Outpost is said to be tree top platforms where you can view orangutans swinging from vine to vine and resting in hammocks. The Tiger Lodge is for information on tigers. The Kulu Canopy is home to White-cheeked Gibbons, Flying Foxes( which are commonly known as fruit bats ), and Tomistomas ( a native of the Crocodile ).
