Day 25 (Wednesday, July 2, 2008):This is not my best outfit, I will admit, but it does have a distinctive style to it.
*Xhiliration gray granny sweater; it's thin and wooly, very wispy and almost threadbare, like something made years ago.
*Black gaucho pants that my Grinnell friend Gabrielle gave to me
*Red lace blouse that I bought at a thrift shop in Grinnell, IA for $2 or $3
*Fiona shoes that my boyfriend bought me at Payless for $25.99! I certainly wouldn't have paid that price but I couldn't resist them when he and I went shopping at Ballston Common Mall in Arlington. They're unusually sophisticated, albeit costume-y with a somewhat rock n' roll look. They strike me as a cross between delicate Victorian heels and 1950's bowling shoes. I love the peep-toe---that detail really did it for me.
