Organic Cereal Review: Arrow Mills Organic Spelt Flakes Cereal

After being happy with spelt product after spelt product I have been more eager to find foods that use spelt flour in their ingredients. So far I have tried Rudi's Organic Bakery Spelt Hamburger Buns and Spelt English Muffins as well as VitaSpelt Organic Spelt Spaghetti and with each new spelt product I am liking it more and more. The other day while scanning the various organic cereals that were on sale I noticed Arrow Mills Organic Spelt Flakes Cereal. I had yet to try or find a spelt cereal so I was excited about this. Previously I had one other cereal by Arrow Mills and so I was eager to see if this was a company that had things that I liked.

I definitely feel like I am a health nut but even I have my limits with how hearty something can be before I really don't care for the taste. Whole wheat foods are the ones that you find will get hearty quick but this is not the case with spelt. It offers a mild nutty flavor and hearty was the last word on my mind as I was eating a bowl of the cereal. I thought that Arrow Mills Organic Spelt Flakes Cereal tasted wonderful. I couldn't wait to read the nutrition facts and ingredients of the cereal to confirm whether or not this was a cereal that I wanted to be getting again. Usually I would have glanced at the nutrition facts and ingredients of this cereal while I was in the store to help determine whether or not it was something that I wanted to get but I was very eager to try a spelt cereal.
