If you find your vehicle is leaking a small of amount of water coming from the engine. I would highly recommend this product. Before installing, be sure this small amount of water is NOT condensation coming from your air conditioning system during hot summer months. An easy way to tell the difference is by simply looking at the water/fluid leaking. If the water/fluid leaking is clear, it's most likely your air conditioner condensation, which will use a certain amount of radiator water during the summer. If the water/fluid dripping underneath your engine has a green tint. It could possibly be your water pump, or a bad water hose. This chemical called "Bar's Leaks Heavy Duty Radiator Stop Leak repair" is the best I have found so far to repair minor water leaks. This unique chemical "actually works" It uses small unharmful pellets and other fluids that are dissolved into your engine cooling system, within about 30 minutes or so after installing and gradually seals any small water leaks you may have in your automobile engine.
I have personally used this chemical for years and years in all of my automobiles, and never had any problems with it. As a market research expert. I am always searching for products that "actually work" I am also what you would call an amateur mechanic, and fully recommend this product before paying a "High Price" repair of water pumps and radiators. Bar's Leaks did NOT pay me to write this article, I honestly believe it's just a "Good Product" on the market today.
The procedure for installing this chemical is very simple:
1. Wait until your engine cools down, shake the bottle, open your radiator cap and slowly pour this chemical into your radiator. Be sure that you get these unharmful "Pellets" inside the radiator. Pour hot water into the radiator at the same time during this process. This will help to dissolve these unharmful "pellets" Smaller engines such as 4 cylinders will only require about a half a bottle. Larger engines such as 6 and 8 cylinders will require the entire bottle.
