CP Spotlight: Dreahwrites

I have been a CP Producer since late August, 2006 and I’ve read many articles and stories by various CP Producers and there was always one that stood out in the crowd to me and that’s Dreahwrites! There were two things that specifically drew me to her page and  1.) Was the drawing in place of her picture, because I love all forms of artistic expression and her drawing is unique  2.) When I read her content I was immediately impressed. I thought to myself “Wow, this woman is a wealth of information"!  There are a lot of “know it alls” out there, but most of them are what society calls “Jack of all trades and master of none”. However this term certainly does apply to Dreahwrites. Her content is informative, creative and just plain interesting. This artist, writer, wife and homeschooling mom has certainly put her BA in Fine Arts with a Minor in English to good use.

I recently sent a few questions to this Superstar CP Producer and I want to share her heart with you:

AC: What really inspires you to write?
DW: I am a bit of a know-it-all by nature, so the ability to write my findings and knowledge to an unknown audience, makes my family and friends happy as I am less opinionated with them.

AC:What is the one thing that draws you to the computer and really gets your fingers moving on an article?
DW: If I see a beautiful room, I get inspired to describe it, or to describe the ideas it gives me. Alternately, double standards tick me off, and that makes me write passionately as well.

AC:So how did you get into writing? 
DW:During a time in my life when I was feeling a bit depressed, I learned that having an online journal helped me to talk about my feelings and made me feel better. I got addicted to the give and take that came with the online journaling. After that, I began giving advice on line in my particular area of expertise (interior design), and that eventually turned into writing articles.

AC:Tell us one thing about yourself that people might not know? 
DW:I grew up with 8 siblings, somewhere near the middle.
