Have You Read Karen Francis Yet?

I first came across Karen Francis’ articles when I clicked the link to bloggers in my city, at the top of my profile page. What made me stay and read was the fact that she unashamedly, unabashedly, and unapologetically, wrote about Christianity. This is very hard for some of us Christians to do. I was instantly impressed.

Karen Francis writes what she knows, and knows what she writes. With subjects from Christianity, skincare, care for black hair and cell phone comparisons, Ms. Francis calls upon her personal bank of knowledge to consistently deliver top-notch articles. If you have not read Karen Francis’ articles, I strongly suggest you take a look. Oh, and check back often. I reckon she will be a force to contend with before long.

Shall we find out a bit more about Karen Francis?

AC: What really inspires you to write? What is the one thing that draws you to the computer and really gets your fingers moving on an article?

KF: Good question. God and His word inspire me. Since God created us, I am also inspired by His creation, Nature, and of course people. I often study people and their actions and reactions. I don’t notice their external shells, but I see their spirit and find myself taking out my mental pen and asking questions like, “why does this person speak, walk, dress, react, or believe as they do”. I guess it comes from having an inquiring mind.

AC: So how did you get into writing?

KF: Growing up I was extremely shy. I would rarely speak in front of others even though I had something to say. So I decided to begin writing things down in my diary. This was a way to release frustrations and organize my thoughts. Although I found great comfort in praying and talking to God, the writing gave me an additional outlet to express my heart.

AC: Tell us one thing about yourself that people might not know.

KF: I love the Opera

AC: What has been your greatest success in life?
