Myspace is the most popular website on the Internet, and it was started as a way for bands to network and find new fans and places to play.
Unfortunately, Myspace's interface and numerous technical glitches combined with an iron resolve to avoid unnecessary pestering of its users makes this fairly difficult for many bands. To combat this, some companies have devised programs that are able to aid in profile designing, friend adding, messaging, and other functions. Here's a look at the ideas behind such programs, and whether they really help bands promote their music.

Myspace Profile Editors

I highly recommend finding a good Myspace profile editor (there's a link to one at the end of this article) to make your profile stand out from the masses that people are going to be looking at. If you've got a good, solid graphic that represents your band well (for instance an album cover), you can take a little time and make it your background on your profile, which impresses and looks extremely professional when done correctly. You can also edit the way the cursor displays, the color of the font, the placement of the “Add Comment” box, all of the button images, and pretty much anything else on your page. The profile editors make the HTML easy to manage, and there are some great ones that are free. Myspace doesn't frown on this technology at all, and it's fun and easy to take advantage of—and might win you some repeat page visits.

Myspace programs can be run on any computer since they don't take many system resources, but very in usefulness.

you don't know what you're talking about! Adding friends is a great tool. Basically you can find out people who have similar taste and then add them. They end up leaving comments the specifics of your music... that shows they listened. I read your opinion shaking my head...
