Great Poem...A sad reality!

This was great, I recently did an article about a homless woman named Florence. Will add you to my favs.

I always wonder what happened that landed these people in their situation.

Sad words but sadder that they are true

It is very troubling and there is no one easy solution. This is something that I have researched because it breaks my heart and I want to help. One thing that I have learned is to never judge those who are homeless. They are from all walks of life, colors, creeds, and ages. Providing food and temp. shelter helps; though, it is not the sole solution. There are placement programs out there, as there are job training programs; but...we need more. The will of the individual to improve his/her life is a must, too. Sometimes, however, there are mentally ill homeless people who are not even in control of their own faculties. In this situation, how can we expect them to do their part, when they do not even comprhend their own dire situation? It is complex and there is no one size fits all to this problem. All we can do is the best the we can. If more people had an interest in solving this problem, we could generate more options that could save a lot of people. Excellent poem.

The last two lines should read: Dear God, please forgive US And help the homeless too.
